ADVENTURE PHOTOGRAPHY

My nature photography roots have drawn me to adventure photography in a way I never would have guessed. In my early years as a photographer, I strove to document nature, unadulterated by the presence of people or manmade objects. Though this is still something I value immensely, I've found humanity's pursuit of the outdoors drives us to do such incredible feats just to experience nature in its extremes. The juxtaposition of nature's serenity with the superhuman efforts of those seeking to enjoy it is poetic and captivating to me. Capturing the story of those who choose to pursue these extremes and the lengths they are willing to go is now one of my greatest passions, and it drives me every time I get to spend time with my friends, clients, and my camera in the outdoors.
